Chinese IT company may bring CCTV to Curaçao

Multinational IT company, Inspur, which is headquartered in China, is considering the establishment of establishing a business in Curaçao to serve the region. The idea emerged when Minister Nelson Navarro, along with acting police chief Rudsel Martina and Sector Director Gerold Daantje of the Ministry of Justice recently visited the company in China. The delegation had traveled there on the advice of the Chinese Consul General in Curaçao to talk about the placement of CCTV cameras in the fight against the crime wave. Inspur is willing to help, and may even offer products and installation for free, if the company is supported in the procedures for establishment here. From Curaçao, they will then penetrate the rest of the Caribbean region, as well as Central and South America. The CCTV cameras in Curaçao can serve as models for the wider region. The government has offered Inspur a proposal.
